At Operators Unlimited, we equally weigh a person’s potential values and current strengths with their direct experience, track record of success and ability to meet job requirements.


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 3 years experience in staff accounting required
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft office suite (especially Excel)
  • Ability to learn new software (i.e. ERP System)
  • Ability to meet deadlines as well as high sense of accountability and urgency
  • Working knowledge of GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise, and well-organized manner
  • Willingness to learn as well as prove adaptability and versatility


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and kneel to handle normal office duties
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to walk through a large facility
  • Must be able to work in an environmental setting

What you OWN (Responsible For)

                     

  • Accounts Payable (including but not limited to)
    • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
    • Matches and enters all invoices and credits for payment into the accounting system.
    • Maintains accounts payable files.
    • Reviews vendor statements to ensure no past dues, resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Accounts Receivable (including but not limited to)
    • Process and review new customer applications; create and maintain customer files.
    • Post customer payments by recording wires, checks and/or credits card transactions.
    • Prepare deposits as needed.
    • Document daily collection activities.
    • Respond to credit inquiries.
    • Monitor customer accounts for delinquency and initiate appropriate collection.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Cash Flows
    • Budgets
    • Month End
  • Process Payroll through Payroll System (ADP)
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Assist CFO with monthly sales commission calculations
    • Assist with managing business insurance
    • Manage Bank, Credit Card, and GL Reconciliations
    • Input GL Transaction
    • Manage Expense Reports
    • Manage Bank Transfers
    • Manage Petty Cash
    • Compile Bank, Loan, and Tax paperwork
    • Manage Sales Tax Certificates/Exemptions (Potentially: Prepare federal, state, local, and special tax returns)
    • Manage 1099 Filings
    • Backup to Customer Service
